    38 at Point Turton is a seaside holiday house located in the coastal town of Point Turton, perfectly positioned with the beach directly across the road. From the large front deck, guests can enjoy uninterrupted sea views, making 38 at Point Turton an ideal choice for a relaxing coastal escape on the Yorke Peninsula.

    The property offers 3 bedrooms with a queen bed, a trio bunk with a single bed alongside, and a double bed, accommodating up to 8 guests. Quilts, blankets and pillows are provided, with all linen included such as sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats and tea-towels. Guests only need to bring their own beach towels.

    The main bathroom includes a walk-in shower, vanity and toilet, with an additional toilet also available. A hairdryer is supplied for convenience.

    Year-round comfort is provided with reverse cycle split-system air-conditioning in the lounge room, and a wood combustion heater for the cooler months, with guests to bring their own wood. Ceiling fans are installed in the queen and trio bunk bedrooms, and in the dining area.

    38 at Point Turton has a well-equipped kitchen with an electric oven and stovetop, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine with some capsules provided, and a large fridge with freezer on top. A kettle, 4-slice toaster and rice cooker are also available.

    The dining area adjoins the kitchen, while the sunken lounge room offers comfortable seating, a television with USB and HDMI ports, DVD player with DVDs, and a selection of books, board games and CDs. A spacious games room includes a full-size pool table, dart board and extra games for entertainment.

    The holiday house has a front load washing machine, iron, ironing board and rear clothesline, along with a handy shower for rinsing off after a day at the beach directly across the road.

    Outdoors, the large undercover deck at the front of 38 at Point Turton is the highlight of the house, offering uninterrupted sea views and a comfortable setting with cushioned seating and an outdoor dining table. A hooded gas barbecue with gas ring is provided, along with a large lawned area in the front yard which includes a fire pit, with guests to bring their own wood and observe fire regulations.

    The yard is unfenced, with off-street driveway parking for up to 4 cars and space for a boat.

    With beach access directly across the road, guests can spend their days swimming, beachcombing or simply soaking in the views from the deck. The foreshore walking path and the Walk The Yorke trail can also be accessed opposite the house.

    A 5-minute walk takes you to the Point Turton nature playground and bike track, while the Tavern on Turton, boat ramp and jetty are just a short drive away.

    From 38 at Point Turton, visitors can also explore the southern Yorke Peninsula, with Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park within easy reach for day trips and exploring. The national park is a highlight of the region with rugged coastlines, pristine beaches, surfing spots, historic ruins and abundant wildlife.

    Nearby coastal towns including Corny Point, Marion Bay and Stenhouse Bay offer more opportunities for fishing, boating, bushwalking and discovering local history. Warooka is just a short drive inland for supplies and shopping, while Yorketown and Minlaton providing additional dining and services. Guests can enjoy a range of local experiences, from sampling seafood and dining at country hotels to exploring lighthouses, walking trails and scenic lookouts, all within a 30km drive of Point Turton.

    About Point Turton

    Point Turton overlooks a particularly beautiful part of Yorke Peninsula, with the town situated on the western coastline. The blue sea and white beaches of nearby Hardwicke Bay are sheltered, so are nearly always perfect for boating and sailing and other aquatic activities.

    The coastal swimming centre located near the Point Turton Jetty never stops splashing in summer.

    Fishing enthusiasts are guaranteed to catch something from the jetty, or take your boat along to launch from the great all weather boat ramp.

    The Tavern on Turton is a great place to relax and the general store stocks the basics including fuel.

    Point Turton is located a 3 hour drive from Adelaide.
